women's health, a ten-place pilot
You deserve someone who takes responsibility, reads your body and story as a whole, and gives you an Answer.
Luisa reads all of it, and is clear about what it shows, what it can't show yet, and how to find out.

symptoms we look at
Tap to see the chain. Symptoms look separate but are often connected.
That was one chain. Yours might start somewhere else, or nowhere near your cycle.
For you if it's gone on for a while, you've tried the obvious, or you've been told it's normal or to wait. If it's new or comes and goes, read Case No. 001 first.
If something is severe, sudden or worrying, don't wait for this. See your GP, call 111, or 999 in an emergency.
what you've heard about your symptoms
“I am building this because I am tired of women being let down and alone in the healthcare system.”
Luisa Howell, Founder
who reads your story
ANutr. BSc Psychology and Nutrition.
Reads your whole story and writes your Answer.
Luisa doesn't diagnose or prescribe. If something needs a doctor, she'll say so, and you take it to your GP. If you'd benefit from other support, she can introduce you to people she trusts, like a registered dietitian or a physiotherapist. Your health information is never shared without your permission.
fig. 1, seven causes
Seven common places to look. Tests help tell them apart.
what you get, and when
Honest if it is unsure. Reasoned by science. Knows what to do next.
Diagnosis and tests stay with your doctor. Cyllo does the long read beforehand, so you walk in with it organised.
Printed, posted, with a note from Luisa.

questions women ask
No. It's a reasoned Answer with the working shown. The section for your GP sets out your history, what the Answer found, and the questions to ask. Diagnosis, and any tests, stay with your GP. You arrive knowing what to ask, and why.
Your health does not sit neatly within one symptom or one test result. As a Registered Associate Nutritionist, I look at your symptoms, health history, previous results and nutritional context together. I consider what the available evidence may suggest, where nutrition and lifestyle may be relevant, and what remains unclear. The aim is not to diagnose you or replace your GP. It is to give you a considered interpretation of your health story, with the reasoning made clear and practical next steps you can take forward, including questions to discuss with your GP where appropriate.
If you decide The Answer isn't right for you, tell Luisa during your results call. If you feel you have gained no useful understanding of your health or what to do next, we will refund your £250. You do not need to prove your case or justify your decision. For a refund or cancellation, contact Luisa at contact@luisahowell.com.
Anyone under 18. Anyone who might be pregnant: take a test first. Anyone with very heavy bleeding, severe pain, bleeding after sex or blood in their poo: see your GP first.
A person reads every file and writes every Answer. Software keeps your story organised. That's its job.
You should. Then go back with this. A GP appointment is about ten minutes, and your story takes longer than that. We do the long read so your ten minutes count.
It can list the causes of a missing period. It can't ask you the next question, notice what you left out, or check back at week 8 to see if it was right.
Your GP decides which tests, if any, to order. The section for your GP sets out which ones to ask about, and on which day of your cycle, so the question is clear first time.
No. Sleep, skin, digestive issues and energy are read together with your cycle, because the body does not work in silos.
Yes, especially when they follow your cycle. We look at timing, food, stress and sleep together, and set out which tests to ask about first.
On the combined pill, the monthly bleed is a withdrawal bleed, not a period, so it can hide what's happening underneath. If you've stopped and your period hasn't come back, this is exactly what The Answer is for.
Then you have a name (PMOS is what PCOS is now called). The Answer looks at what's driving yours, what's worth trying first, and how you'll know if it's working.
Professionals we know and trust, such as a registered dietitian or a physiotherapist. If you need one, your Answer says so and we introduce you. Their fees are separate.
If anything you tell us needs a doctor soon, we say so straight away. We don't wait for your Answer.
Luisa. It's never sold, and never shared with advertisers.
Intakes open on 9 December. Your Answer arrives about ten days after your intake.
A blood test gives you numbers. It doesn't know that your period went when the marathon training started, or that you've been cold since March. We start with your story, then tell you which numbers matter and why, so the tests you do get are the right ones. Which tests, if any, is your GP's decision.
